Basic Training for Mental Health Literacy:
Guardian Certification

GUARDIAN CERTIFICATION (MHIMAI-GC)
Foundational Training for Coaches, Instructors, and Leaders Who Work With People
Today’s instructors and coaches are often helping with far more than physical training alone.
Students walk into training environments carrying stress, anxiety, emotional struggles, social pressure, burnout, and personal challenges — and many leaders are expected to respond without ever receiving formal guidance on how to do so safely and appropriately.
MHIMAI Guardian Certification was created to help close that gap.
This foundational certification equips instructors, coaches, and youth leaders with practical tools to better recognize concerns, communicate effectively, maintain healthy boundaries, and help create safer, more supportive environments for the people they lead.
Whether you work in martial arts, athletics, cheer programs, fitness, youth development, or coaching, MHIMAI helps leaders respond with greater confidence, professionalism, and awareness.
